Halifax’s right shooting defenseman who is powerful, agile and possesses a high skilled package that allows him to look like an old original six type throwback defensive end punisher. High end hockey IQ allows him the luxury to make the correct reaction whether he has the biscuit or not. Has short area explosion and loves shutdown situations and is so fundamentally strong and positionally solid and loves to manhandle attackers, and take pucks starting transition and joining as the trailer. He’s powerful and agile, but sticks to a conservative defensive style, saving aggression for the middle and defensive zones, and not showing any aggressive nature as an attacker. His awareness and aggression are enough to project he will continue to fill out, I’m[prove and be an active physical player at the higher levels.
