Has really good balance and four way skating ability. Small but hold his ground against larger players. His strong skating lest him cover a lot of space, jump into the rus=h and support his teammates. Smart when in possession of the puck with tight cuts, skates around sliding defensive blockers trying to disrupt his intentions. Strong stop/start skater who cuts laterally and is good in close to the net as an attacker. Strong power play performer who distributes the puck extremely well, and uses his quickness to forces changes in coverage,suckering the opposition and opening shooting and passing lanes Despite his size, he will use the body to knock the biscuit away from attacking puck carriers. Smallish defender with excellent mobility, accurate passing skills and a strong point shot on the power play. Doesn’t possess a separation gear or short area burst. His agility and hockey smarts let him make a difference in junior, but will only get him so far, so better feet is a priority in his future development.
