Natural play-making centre who has dominated his age group in Austria. Lean bodied and room for weight, He has soft hands and playmaking ability and Played wing on the top Austrian line in the 2002-21 World Junior Tournament Under-20 with Marco Rossi and Senna Peters. On the power play he sets up on the right half wall ala Patrick Kane. While other Austrian and German prospects stayed in Germany, he made the transition to Rogle in the Swedish Hockey League where he played seventy plus games against men, and showed he could be a rugged contributor in tight and tough games. He displayed lots of skill, smarts, dependability and smarts with or without the puck. He drives hard and finishes checks, and really puts pressure on the defensemen. Has a ton of skill in his passing and in his quick shot release. While many of the first round possibles have fancy wow factor, he wasn’t as fine play was less noticeable, but this hard skating centre has all the tools to be a top player. To me, I see a Filip Chitl type who in time is a big, edgy centre with good, soft hands, puck skills, and foot speed and is smart in his carries.
