Has been touted as an upcoming elite prospect for more than a few years in his teens, due to his size, four way skating ability and balance on his skates. A big physical defenseman who blocks lots of shots, deliver punishing checks, pushes the better opposing players off the puck and jump up into his teams attacks as the fourth option. Needs refinement and hasn’t shone he can enough speed or elusiveness to escape forecheckers while he is carrying. Reads the offensive zone well and keeps the puck low to the net through traffic. Loaned to the La Ronge Ice Wolves of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) during WHL shutdown. Was a member of the Canada’s 2021 IIHF Under-18 World Championship team.
